Biography

Jenna L. Griffin is a Senior Associate at Kring & Associates, APC. Her practice primarily involves a broad array of complex civil, business, and employment law litigation matters. She has litigated nearly 100 cases in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration, involving a wide variety of issues including business disputes, employment law claims, trade secret and unfair competition matters, real estate, environmental law litigation, and breach of contract matters. Ms. Griffin has successfully filed derivative claims on behalf of shareholders resulting in a new Board of Directors and saving millions of dollars for the clients.

Ms. Griffin’s primary focus includes counseling and defending a broad variety of business clients on employment law issues including claims for wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, misclassification, PAGA, and unfair competition under both federal and California laws, including, the California Civil Rights Department, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the California Family Rights Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the California’s Trade Secret Act, and other labor and employment laws.

Ms. Griffin has also counseled her many clients on compliance with California and federal regulatory laws, classification of employees, employee discipline and terminations, as well as drafting and implementing policies and procedures, including handbooks, for Human Resources. Ms. Griffin is a trial lawyer with a vast array of experience of writing and successfully arguing complex motions for her clients including, but not limited to, summary judgments, preliminary injunctions, motions for judgment on the pleadings, vacating injunctions, Anti-SLAPP, as well as other related motions and oppositions.

Ms. Griffin takes a hands-on approach and works closely with her clients and thus instrumental in the successful resolution of matters involving complex employment law issues, contract disputes and negotiations, business disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, real estate litigation, family and conservatorship law, environmental law, criminal law, as well as personal injury litigation.
